"I'm from the city in the Midwest, best city in the whole wide, wide world!"

Support your city of choice with the “For the Love of the City” Pack. A kick tribute to New York City, Los Angeles, Houston and Chicago. The sneakers were designed based on what each city is known best for (kinda). New York City is a Dunk-Hi with a 'glow in the dark' outer sole to represent the city that never sleeps. Houston is a Vandal-Hi with that distinct "Sizzurp" color that the South is so familiar. It even has drippings along the sole! Los Angeles is a Dunk-Low with white contrast stitching throughout the entire shoe to represent the obsession with plastic surgery and that false sense of "perfection" that LA is notorious for. And last but definitely not least, Chicago. My city is represented by the Air Force II (blah) but features neutral tones and a fur-lining to keep you warm in the 'Windy City'.
The pack will be available 2/21/09 at House of Hoops locations but availability will be seriously limited.

First of all, I just want to say that as dope as I think it is that they made a "Sizzurp" inspired kick. It's a little much to have an entire city represented by a prescription/street drug that puts you into a comatose state of retardation. I'm about as liberal as they come but damn Nike haha. I do admit that the superficial representation of Los Angeles is right on. It doesn't get more pinned and tucked than LA. If you've been there, you know.

But you know what I'll be stocking :)
